Chinese New Year Day Three

It's like the 13th day of Chinese New Year and now only am I blogging about my new year .. but hold your horses.. I'm only talking about the third day after the first two days of family hoo haa reuniting ..

On the third day itself, my auntie took us all out for a tour to Penang .. like real tourist liddat le!

now this time, i did not take any photos myself .. because i passed the camera to my brother and let him have his way ..

pss: i suck in labelling/copyrighting my photos and i got lazy halfway thru so it's disorderly ..

driving across the Penang bridge because the ferry itself is damn packed

plus driving across the bridge can enjoy beautiful view ..

approaching the middle of the bridge ... we took the picture from the back seat therefore the car dashboard can be seen

first stop.. we went to bukit bendera.. is that frasier hill? i dunno.. sorry my geography is pretty messed up .. but it was packed and full so we moved to another location ..

Kek Lok Si temple .. which has pretty pretty architecture ! i am amazed at how pretty the place is ..



lookie, the scenery of the hills just take my breath away ..! look so fresh ..

what?? climb all the way up there?? O.o

the toppest .. i feel so close to the sky .. the background really shows it's a good day ..

i love how they cut shape the tree into half .. look like bowl liddat ..

we bought a lot of souvenirs .. but let's save that for another day :) .. pretty pretty souvenir ..

after the long climb up and the climb down .. we head to the Botanical Garden ..

time for some nature walk !
this is called the cannon ball tree .. looks kinda like a Christmas tree or someone with messy hair

botanical garden is so healthy ! or so the board claims ...

a beautiful place to "do a Bollywood movie" quoted my cousin ..

seriously, you can just roll around there, running around, hiding behind trees .. etc etc ..

ok, the monkeys are super adorable and super daring .. my grandma pointed to one and it opened it's mouth gesturing a bite ..

here's a little game .. spot the monkeys! guess how many are there??

i never know monkeys camouflage until now .. ok, so my knowledge on monkeys are low too.. T.T

they even locked up the plants. . scared you take and run ..

house of orchid .. where all the orchids live .. also known as orchidarium .. hehe

oh look.. more monkeys ! see , they are super approachable .. and despite the sign NO FEEDING MONKEY .. people still do.. if the monkey food poisoning and got stomach ache how?

i love the effect in this photo ! look so peaceful and almost romantic ..

i can almost picture the moment again ..

this was in the middle of the road .. no wonder la the road jam .. people stopped their car, get down and take photos there or slow down to admire the beauty .. it's pretty unique

we stopped by corn wallis .. but we just stopped there and walked a bit .. without going in .. pay to go in and see old cannons? no thx ..

the end of a beautiful day .. i think i lost some weight with the amount of sweating and walking etc etc but for dinner, i was so hungry i ate a big plate of wan tan mee .. T.T

whole day hardwork for nothing ..

the next day we head off to my second uncle's house ..

dunno how many gazillion times i passed this traffic light .. everywhere on penang also the traffic light seems to have number countdown .. i like ..

remember last year .. my cousin has a bitch named Angel that barks her head off whenever she sees her..

well, this time when i went to my second uncle's house .. they have a new dog ... i think she's a bitch too ..

TADAA!! .. bigger version of Angel ..

except she doesn't bark, she sniffs around you .. *sniff sniff*

looks like Angel .. just bigger and quieter ..

i miss the good old days ..

my brother has a couple of good shots .. hmm good good =]

anyways .. gotta go now .. moving on .. doing other things .. will blog more on what i brought home from Penang ..
