People have asked me before

" Why do you like Jay Chou?"

I asked them back " Why not?"

I wished I knew about Jay sooner.. well I could when Nancy showed me his picture way back in form 4 .. =P

But it's better late than never right ?

Why Jay ?? Why not Lee Hom? Why not SHE? Why not David Tao ..

Because they're not Jay ..

When I first heard about Jay, there was something special in his song .. of course everyone knows my fave Jay song .. that was one of the first song I heard from him.. and coincidentally when I knew Jay, his 6th album was coming out ..

Of course everyone can argue with the mumbling you can't really hear him but despite the mumbling, there's just something about him that I can't just ignore. He's deep. Rip a page of Jay's lyrics and you will know what I mean!

He's not exactly " handsome " material but he's ok looking. He had managed to bring east and west music combine and yet managed to stay in his roots. I love his traditional music.

Jay works hard throughout his whole career. Feel free to hate him if you want but you cannot deny Jay has been working hard for himself. He is also known to be filial to his mother and grandma. Really mommy's boy.

He plays all kinds of instruments especially piano. He has directed and acted in movies, three in total plus provided soundtrack for all of them. Even for the movie Fearless starring Jet Li. Now Jay's new movie is coming out. " Kung fu dunk" ..

Did you know he has spinal problem? He does. I hope they find a cure soon. Aside from all the normal things, Jay also advertise for many many occasions, many products.

But most of all, I love how Jay dares to be different. His main factor is not his looks. His tones in his songs and his emotions pulled me closer and he lets himself in. I love Jay for who he is .. for being his own self.

That's why I love Jay Chou. That's why I listen to him. He's my fave..

now i would bombard this post with Jay's face !
